Memory Care

Forever Young Adult Center Memory Care is specialized and secure for participants who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. The program offers, therapeutic activities, games, and reminiscence tailored for memory impairment.

Activities and services are available at least 70% of the time the center is open to participants. Participants are provided with services that offer:

• Therapeutic activities designed to promote and maintain physical, cognitive, social and emotional health
• hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, inclusive of the provision of urinary and bowel incontinence care

At Forever Young Adult Center, the safety and security of every participant is our highest priority. Our facility features a secured perimeter with electronic keypad entry, 24/7 video surveillance, and an elopement prevention system that immediately alerts staff if any exit door is approached by a participant requiring supervision. These layered safeguards, combined with our rigorously trained team, create a warm, engaging environment where families can have complete peace of mind knowing their loved ones are protected at all times.

We prioritize specialized staff training ensuring our caregivers deliver compassionate, effective care to adults with cognitive and physical needs. Annually, employees complete at least eight hours of continuing education to stay abreast of best practices, including person-centered care and behavioral intervention strategies, fostering a safe and engaging environment that honors the dignity of every participant.

Our licensed Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are on site whenever participants are present, providing professional oversight of health care needs,  and emergency response. All nursing staff maintain current Florida licensure, CPR certification, and Level 2 background screening as required by AHCA, and they complete a minimum of 12 hours of annual in-service training focused on dementia care, infection control, and participant safety. This dedicated team ensures that every participant receives compassionate, skilled care in a safe and nurturing environment.
